Why a basic web is not enough for a trade?

Professional web

Sometimes I start to surf the Internet and find websites trades that I find interesting and that I would buy.
However, it turns out that they are very basic and I find that there is only information of the physical store and some photos of the products. But there is no possibility of making a purchase online .
It is true that not all businesses need an online store . But, over the years, people have become accustomed to buying from the seat of their home, as we spend more time in front of the computer and it is difficult to move around.
So, if you are one of those who have a simple and basic web, I think you should be aware that you are wasting the advantages of a good web development.

Why a basic web is not always the best

Perhaps you you hired one computer company back in 2004 so that you ride a basic web in HTML. They put a few photos of your business, the logo of your company, your address, your phone and some information about the products. What attracted you most is that it was a cheap product, a basic web.
But there are a lot of things you're letting go. These are some of the disadvantages of the "basic web" that sometimes we want to sell as if they were the solution:
Create a website· Purchases are not automated: to sell without an online store, you need your physical presence, either responding to e-mail or phone. Instead, if you have a store, people can pay by card or Paypal and buy your products even while you sleep.
· There are few pages: if you simply put a "who we are", "where we are", "where we come from, " as usually find in these sites, one thing is certain. You do not keep visits because information is missing. If you have a catalog of 3000 or 4000 products, you increase the volume of contents of your website, improving your relevance in Google.
· They have poor designs: there may be exceptions, but many of the "old basic websites" that have designs still look low resolution and usually with a little original templates.
· Are poorly positioned: this we have already mentioned, but also that our competition does have an online store. And above that some pages are very basic, apparently the web developer did not bother to optimize the web for SEO with "meta" and "title" tags.
If you are an SME and you have a basic website like this, I think you're letting out many customers. Even a WordPress blog with a suitable template can be more useful for creating content regularly and not having forgotten it. Ask us if you need advice on which page is best for your business.
