Do I need to have a computer in my company?

I understand that many companies in Spain this question are made. I want to set up a business, in which I will need to install a few computers so that my employees can work. I will need to set up a computer network, choose the right equipment, install the software and many other tasks that require someone who understands.

Why a computer is not always the solution

Sometimes a company can work alone without any need to hire a service computer maintenance . Especially if you have someone who knows the subject and is willing to do installations, maintenance and troubleshooting . However, my experience tells me that the thing does not always work well when you opt for this route.
I tell you: it is very typical case in the family business in which all tasks a young boy with computer skills are responsible. He is usually a person of the family, student of Engineering, to which they pay little or nothing to him, since in the bottom it does it like "a favor".
What is the possible problem here? Basically, I know two very typical cases:
· Lack of knowledge: itself is logical. A computer scientist does not have to be "a boy for everything", although sometimes we have that image of him. Perhaps you know a lot about hardware and can hop a computer network, but may not know which programs are the most convenient TPV, or know develop yourself as software for your business.
· Lack of time: Manage technology company (like riding a professional web page) is a process that takes work and requires effort; If you order it from a person who does not work for you or is studying, do not be surprised that it takes much longer than you can imagine.
That is why when it comes to starting a business, you have to take these factors into account. I do not mean to disparage the computer, or because we we are company computer maintenance and logically want to sell; If you have people who are able to do a professional installation and do it well, go ahead. You'll save money, that's what it's all about.
Or even if you can afford to hire someone and have it entirely dedicated to your business, better still, as long as it is worth it in terms of productivity (depending on which SME it is, it is very rare for a computer operator to do only computer tasks).
But very careful: what sometimes seems cheap or free, sometimes is synonymous with work that goes on over time and exceeds your expectations, that is, lose time and money. If you're starting a business, I tell you from experience: outsource IT tasks is the surest way to make things work quickly and make a quality standard.
