Ink or laser printer?

One of the questions that can be made a small business when investing in printers is whether you should buy a inkjet or laser . As it surely has a commercial profile, the first impulse is to look at which can be more economic in the market.
Ink printer

In fact, ink is usually cheaper. However, this is not the process to know which printer should I buy for my business. In this article we are going to contribute our point of view on this aspect.

Which printer to buy: inkjet or laser

Traditionally, laser printers were more oriented companies, while inkjet were more typical for domestic use. It is important in any case that not only have to look at the price of the printer, but at the cost of toner and what will be the final cost of printing .
One of the disadvantages of many inkjet printers is that the cartridges are usually more expensive. That's why, if you're going to print a lot of paper, let's say more than 2000 pages a month, you probably do not realize you have to change the toner very often.
Another disadvantage comes from its operation : it is more likely that, with the passage of time, the ink nozzles are clogged , leaving those little white spots on the paper. You may also notice some stains on some types of paper. This does not happen in lasers.

Advantages and Disadvantages of Laser Printers

Best printerLaser printers will contribute a print quality much higher, especially in print in black and white, require less maintenance and generally tend to give less problems. The only two defects are
· The price: the previous investment is usually higher than that of an inkjet printer. For example, a normal ink, that you are going to use in the office, can be around 50 €, while a laser can raise you to more than 100 €. Now, there are many other features that influence the price and do not be surprised to find some more expensive ink.
· Power consumption: power consumption of laser printers is high, even if you have them off, but plugged. Now, if you are going to print thousands of copies a day, it is logical to assume that the light expenditure will be greater.
In short, if you want a print copy quality where you go to print a large amount of paper, ideal for a small business it is a laser printer. What printer do you have in your company? Do you think you made a good investment, or did the copy cost you a lot?
