How to choose a good CMS to create a web page

CMS for web

To create a website , there is always to start from scratch. It is true that there are very specific pages that need a highly customized structure, for example those made in Flash (here are several examples of Flash ), which a good is inevitable specialized programmer . However, some simpler pages require less work and can be done through a CMS.
A CMS ( Content Management System ) is a system of content management . For example, this article we are writing from the control panel of WordPress. WordPress is a CMS. So is Joomla. And Drupal. And Prestashop. What is the best system to create my web? Which one should be chosen? Let's try to uncover the doubt in this article.

How to choose a good CMS to create a web

The first thing to be clear before choosing a system for managing content is what kind of web we want . Do we need an online store from which it can be easily sold? Do we want a basic web with an integrated blog?
Although all CMS have built extensions or plugins that allow e-commerce , some are specially prepared for an online store with many products. For example, is not very optimal use WordPress as software e-commerce, although nothing prevents you to use if you sell something through your website.
Why do I say this? Because it might be worth you to do the basics, but the moment in which the online store is complicated, requires a more specific software,  where there are thousands of modules and improvements that can be implemented to grow your business .
In addition to functionality , another important aspect to be studied are the various options for custom designs with that account. We can use free designs, buy a premium template and optimize it or hire a professional designer to make us something unique.
Both WordPress and Joomla or Drupal offer options to customize the template and adapt as best as possible to our website. However, WordPress is originally a blogging CMS , while Joomla is more designed for static web pages or services. Consequently, in WordPress we will find many more possibilities in design for blogs than for websites.
Another important issue is the simplicity of the administration panel . WordPress is in our opinion one of the simplest there is. The Joomla panel, however, is less intuitive for the average user, although with a few minutes of practice we can get used to it.
Also important is the safety of the CMS , as the CMS also have vulnerabilities that can affect the system, especially through the installation of plugins or misleading templates (fakes) producing various problems on our web.
In short, when choosing CMS we must take into account functionality, design options and plugins, simplicity and security as the main criteria to make our decision. In any case, we must work wisely to avoid any risks. What is the CMS you like the most for you? With which did you create your web page?
